. Geofoam, Recycled Foam Glass and Insulation
Columbia Green has recently expanded our options for lightweight rooftop structural fill and insulation. See below for solutions for lifting elements or creating mounding on the rooftop in a lightweight, low cost way. Explore your range of options or contact us to discuss.
EPS GEOFOAM
Columbia Green Geofoam is made from expanded polystyrene and used for lightweight structural fill on rooftops. Ideal for landscaping applications, especially on projects with weight restrictions.
Our Geofoam is used to fill planter bottoms, create landscape mounding or to lift and align rooftop surfaces like pedestals or green roof trays with a product that is 100 times lighter than soil. It is a great way to fill large areas without requiring compaction with a lower global warming potential than other foam options. Available as blocks, sheets, tapers or custom sizes, or can be cut in the field.
RECYCLED FOAM GLASS AGGREGATE
Columbia Green Recycled Foam Glass Aggregate
A green alternative to replace XPS and EPS geofoam on the rooftops. A lightweight, load-bearing ‘gravel’ used under landscape mounds, pavers and in planters and a Class 1A fire resistant solution for rooftop insulation. This exciting 99% recycled product is finally being made in the USA. Reduce the use of plastic on rooftops.

DUPONT STYROFOAM XPS INSULATION
Columbia Green provides Dupont Styrofoam™ Brand Extruded Polystyrene Foam Insulation, designed for installation above waterproofing. This insulation helps the roof maintain a steady temperature and is strong, lightweight and easy to create into various sizes and shapes to meet your design.
EPS RIGID INSULATION
This high-performance molded polystyrene insulation is suitable for below grade and amenity decks providing long term moisture resistance and a stable R-value. EPS Foam also has a lower global warming potential than other foam options. Available as blocks, sheets, tapers or custom sizes, or can be cut in the field.
